Communicate that feedback is guidance for improvement and not a judgment on ability
Feedback can be difficult for students, especially in AP where the feedback is detailed and frequent. Regularly modeling and communicating that feedback is guidance for improvement rather than a judgment is a powerful way to build tolerance to feedback and help students incorporate it into their work in a productive way that builds learning.
