Help students develop a collective sense of belonging and supportive peer culture in AP: “We are all in this together.”
Supportive class culture is one of the main drivers of student persistence and success in AP. For students who may be particularly susceptible to thinking they don’t belong in an AP class, building a strong sense of collective belonging and peer support allows them to feel wanted and part of a team that will support them when things get difficult.
