Provide as much previewing of content, skills, and challenges as possible

Previewing allows students to see what is coming, recall prior knowledge, and set a purpose for their learning. It is a powerful tool for activating prior knowledge and linking current learning with current knowledge and past experiences. Previewing also allows for anticipation and planning, which help students set priorities, manage their time, and perform better.
