Provide opportunities for students to compare work from the beginning of the school year to see progression
Having students revisit old work products and, if appropriate, having them evaluate those old work products by current rubrics for similar assignments can illustrate for students how far they have come, which helps build confidence and stamina for more hard work ahead.
