Solicit input from students on “what’s not going well”
Opening up the floor to students to share what is and is not going well is valuable feedback both for students and teacher. The teacher then knows what is working and can make adjustments that will benefit students and students will learn what role they can have in solving other problems. By working together as a team, teachers and students can create a classroom environment that works for both.
