To boost students’ confidence and investment in learning content deeply while building connection and trust with the teacher. Students also develop oracy and presentation skills.
To engage students in enrichment activities that build a sense of belonging through mutual contributions from teacher and students.
To support students’ learning and sense of connection through a strategy centered on mutual support.
Students develop metacognitive study skills that they can apply in their AP courses, non-AP courses, and, if applicable, adapt for advanced study.

To assess students’ learning progress in real time through surveys, pre-assessments and check-ins to differentiate learning and adjust instruction.
